It had been several years since the last vineyard visit but 23 Brothers / wives made the short trip to Kingscote Estate & Vineyard to enjoy a lovely afternoon. While heavy showers accompanied the delicious ploughman’s lunch in the marquee, bright sunshine returned for the outdoor part of the tour – a short walk into the vineyard itself. The guide was excellent, providing valuable insights into the Kingscote story, the history of winemaking (inc. champagne), the process of winemaking and the art (and myths) of wine tasting. Many thanks to Tom C for all his hard work in setting the event up.
