Tandridge Circle scored a hat-trick of victories by winning the annual Skittles match with East Grinstead Circle. But, once again, it was close, with a slight mismatch in team numbers again meaning that average scores were deemed to be the fairest way to determine the winners. On that basis Tandridge won narrowly with an average score of roughly 22.25 (across the 3 games) to East Grinstead’s 21.91. Pat proved that his prowess (mis-spent youth?) isn’t confined to ten-pin bowling to skittles, by scoring East Grinstead’s one maximum of 9. As usual, it was a most enjoyable evening and thanks are due to Tandridge for making all the arrangements. Roll on revenge in 2027!
