A new event for the Circle (in recent times at least) was a visit to Crawley for an evening of ten-pin bowling. Some previously hidden talents emerged, with Pat supplying the evening’s top score (a fabulous 162) and one or two others managing to notch high scores without apparently even bowling a ball…or even being present!!! (Their ‘ghost players’ were to thank!). The evening was enjoyed by all those who attended and it is likely to be an event to be repeated in future years. Thanks to Paul B for making the arrangements.
