A record turnout of 12 attended this year’s annual snooker evening, which meant we had six pairs, with four teams playing at any one time. This format arguably provided more opportunity to socialise but also meant that teams could not play all four other teams – but each played three frames. Four of the teams won two frames so the champions were the pair who scored the most points. While Kevin and Danny and Wladek and James each scored 132, the Max Siwicki Trophy was the year presented to Geoff and David with 140. A most enjoyable evening: thanks to Pat for organising it.
