An old rivalry was reignited at the Limpsfield Chart Royal British Legion when East Grinstead and Tandridge Circles competed for the Skittles trophy last contested…well, nobody is quite sure when! It was an excellent evening with great food, excellent company and a close-run contest. Due to a slight mis-match in team numbers, the fairest way to decide the winner was felt to be by taking the average score per person. East Grinstead emerged the narrow winners with an average of 6.075 v 5.970. The top individual score was also from East Grinstead: Tom C with 30 out of 40. Hopefully this event will become an annual fixture in the calendars of each Circle.
