Fortunately the extreme heat of the 2022 event stayed away for the 2023 President’s Sunday and it was a much more comfortable afternoon for the 50 or so Brothers, ladies and other guests. The ‘winning formula’ of the previous years was repeated with St. Bernard’s, Lingfield again the venue. Fr. Jack again kindly agreed to say mass for the Circle, after which the guests enjoyed a delicious barbecue (with particular thanks to the chefs, John F and Pat), supplemented by a wide range of salads and desserts, kindly provided by Brothers and their wives. Many thanks as always to all those who worked hard to make the day successful and enjoyable.
