In order to support the parish fundraising initiative the Circle hosted a family quiz in St. Peter’s School Hall – the first since 2019. Those who attended were treated to an entertaining, wide-ranging (and not TOO taxing) quiz, at the end of which the winning team was ‘We’re Only Here for the Raffle’! On the subject of the raffle, we had a range of generous prizes including a voucher from La Farola and a hamper containing 6 bottles of wine and spirits kindly donated by Hallmark Travel. The draw was expertly compered John Dr, with the star prize being won by….John Dr! Thanks to everyone involved in whatever way – in particular to the generosity of those present, as over £400 was raised towards the parish initiative.
