It may have been one of the coldest nights of the winter but the hospitality was warm as members and ladies celebrated the annual Clergy Night and Christmas Dinner with a very pleasant evening at Sweetwoods Golf Club. We were joined by Fr Jack and Sarah and and the usual raffle (with a wide range of bottles of Bailey’s!) raised over £200 for the President’s chosen charity for the year.
Sadly, this proved to be the only Christmas celebration this year as the annual Carols soiree a couple of evenings later had to be cancelled at literally the last moment due to sudden heavy snow.
