After several months of relative social inactivity (for obvious reasons!) several members of the East Grinstead Circle took the chance to let down their hair (and their masks) for a socially distanced visit to the Carr Taylor Vineyard near Hastings.
While the October weather wasn’t quite a match for that experienced on a similar visit in June 2019, the welcome was certainly as warm as last year and a most enjoyable and educational tour was accompanied by a fabulous lunch and, naturally, wine to taste…and to drink. Supplies were also purchased to aid the enjoyment of potential ‘digital Christmas’. After two great visits here, there is certainly the prospect of this becoming an annual event. Thanks to Tom C for organising it.
