Ousting Lunch – June 2021

A big step was taken towards normality when 25 or so Brothers and Ladies assessembled in the covered outdoor area at Old Dunnings Mill for a Sunday pub lunch. As well as being a great opportunity to gather together for the first time in many months, it was a wonderful chance to recognise the three years’ Circle Presidency of Brother Paul and Hilary and to thank them for all they had done for the Circle. Perhaps this will start a new tradition of an Ousting Lunch?  As well as the splendid company, the event may be remembered for the massive Yorkshire puddings, the new use for old copies of Catena and  the confusion caused over John Fitz’s fig salad…or was it a figgy pudding?!
